Rebar Shape DetailΒΆ

The Rebar Shape Detail tool creates a dimensioned sketch (Revit detail family) of a rebar shape and places it together with a tag in the view. The rebar shape detail represents all instances of the corresponding bar mark. For this reason the bar marks must already be set (see command Set Marks).

  1. Activate the view where you want to place the rebar shape details.
  2. Do one of the following:
  • Select a rebar set of the bar mark you want to create a rebar shape detail > click Reinforcement tab > Tagging panel > icon_RebarShapeDetail (Rebar Shape Detail).
  • Click Reinforcement tab > Tagging panel > icon_RebarShapeDetail (Rebar Shape Detail) > Select a rebar set of the bar mark you want to create a rebar shape detail.
  1. Click to place the Rebar Shape Detail.
Insertion point is the lower left corner of a rectangular box around the rebar shape.
  1. Continue placing more rebar shape details, or press Esc to exit the tool.

Tip

You can select the rebar itself or its tag.
