Openings¶
The Openings tool changes the layout of rebar sets at openings (the opening will not cut the rebars any more) while removing an area system.
- Activate the view with the openings in the area system.
- Click Reinforcement tab
Modify panel 
(Openings) Select the area system with the openings.
The Openings dialog displays.
- Decide whether all openings will be treated, or pick the desired ones. Optionally, you can set a maximum size for openings to be treated in any case.

Tip
You can use the checkbox “Consider internal Boundaries” to consider openings created by internal boundary lines of a floor, wall or foundation slab. Because these kind of openings are not selectable objects.
