SOFiSTiK Version 2010 released
We released the new SOFiSTiK Version 2010 just a couple of weeks ago. As a customer with a current Software-Service-Agreement you should have received the new DVD in the meantime.
What is important to know:
- FEA Version 2010 runs on Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Business (32/64bit) and LINUX (32/64bit).
- Windows Vista Home, XP Home or Windows 2000 are not supported, although the programs might run on these operating systems.
- Version 2010 supports SSE2 processor technology, means we support only PentiumIV/Athlon 32 or newer. Only version 23 supports older processors.
- Make sure you have the right AutoCAD-Version for SOFiPLUS and SOFiCAD. Currently SOFiPLUS 2010 17.3 runs under AutoCAD 2008 and 2009, while the latest SOFiCAD 2010 18.1 runs under AutoCAD 2010 only! Here´s a little version-matrix to clarify this.
- Version 2010 runs exclusively with the new WIBU CodeMeter software protection technology. The current maintenance year (2010) entry is required as well. The old Aladdin hardlock system (requiring the name.nam file) is no longer supported in version 2010. If you have not received a WIBU stick or a valid authorization yet, please contact shipping@sofistik.de or your local SOFiSTiK partner.
- Version 23 can be used with WIBU CodeMeter as well.
- Version 23 and 2010 can be installed and operated at the same time independently when using WIBU CodeMeter.
- Please update your programs after installing right away using sonar as we have already released a servicepack !
What´s new in Version 2010:
- New Version of SOFiPLUS called 2010 (17.3) ; the structural elements were completely re-programmed; runs on AutoCAD 2008/2009 (2010 will follow in fall); here´s a little PDF describing the major changes.
- SOFiPLUS-X 2010 (17.3) now runs on an AutoCAD 2009 OEM engine.
- A new parametric concept for bridge design based on an axis-model; it will need an extra license to use it. Please inquire with us or you local sales partner; more info about CABD >>
- Solvers (ASE, DYNA, TALPA..) are availabe as 64bit versions.
- New direct parallel sparse solver (CTRL SOLV 4) based on the multifrontal-principle allowing parallelization through hyperthreading, multi-core or multi-cpu systems (needs an extra license called "HISOLV"
- HASE offers now the integration of beam finite elements as "real" pile elements within the analytical halfspace.
- GRAFiX which will replace WinGRAF over the next couple of years.
- Interface to REVIT Structure 2010 (32bit)
- SOFiCAD 2010 18.1; all modules are ready for AutoCAD 2010 now.
- New SSD-Task "User text": A little editor that allows to enter text and pictures (jpg, png..) in between other task and will be included in your URSULA report.
New Servicepacks for SOFiSTiK 23 and 2010
There are new versions and servicepacks for the SOFiSTiK FEA Version 23, Version 2010, SOFiPLUS(-X) 2010 and SOFiCAD 2010 18.1 available for update via SONAR. Detailed info about each program´s changes can be obtained from the LOG-files. SONAR offers a nice feature to let you read the difference of your local and the latest log-file on the server before you press the update-button ! Simply use the right-mouse click on one program in the program list and select "change-log". As always detailed info for the current servicepacks SOFiPLUS and SOFiCAD can be obtained from our user-board:
New Examples available !
Through our SOFiSTiK Infoportal these new examples are available:
