Spacer

The Spacer tool creates and places a point spacer (chair) in floors and foundations.

1. Activate the view in which you want to place the spacer.
2. Click Reinforcement tab Modify panel (Spacer)

The Spacer dialog displays.

3. Set the desired bar type, segment lengths and additional cover offsets.
4. Click the insertion point in the desired floor or foundation.

Tip

Use the Shape Detail tool to create a dimensioned sketch (Revit detail family) of the rebar shape.
