Freeze Rebar

The Freeze Rebar tool freezes all visible (or selected) rebar sets in the active view into structural rebar container. The geometry and all parameters of a frozen rebar set will be uneditable. Freeze Rebar is recommended in order to avoid unwished changes of the existing reinforcement. For example, you can very comfortably combine the tool with the SOFiSTiK Revision Control.

1. Activate the view where you want to freeze rebars.
2. Do one of the following:

• Select a reinforcement click Reinforcement tab Marks panel (Freeze).
• Click Reinforcement tab Marks panel (Freeze).

If no rebar object is previously selected, all rebars in current view will be frozen.

Tip

With the parameter “SOFiSTiK_Frozen” in the properties palette you can check whether the reinforcement is frozen or not.
