Openings

The Openings tool changes the layout of rebar sets at openings (the opening will not cut the rebars any more) while removing an area system.

1. Activate the view with the openings in the area system.
2. Click Reinforcement tab Modify panel (Openings) Select the area system with the openings.

The Openings dialog displays.

3. Decide whether all openings will be treated, or pick the desired ones. Optional you can set a maximum size for openings to be treated in any case.

Tip

You can use the checkbox “Consider internal Boundaries” to consider openings created by internal boundary lines of a floor, wall or foundation slab. Because these kind of openings are not selectable objects.
