Move / Rotate

The Move / Rotate tool moves and rotates rebars to align them to the concrete cover and direction of the selected faces. To remove the structural rebar container created by the Move/Rotate tool, you can use the Explode tool.

1. Do one of the following:

• Select one or more rebars to align click Reinforcement tab Modify panel (Move / Rotate).
• Click Reinforcement tab Modify panel (Move / Rotate) Select one or more rebars to align.

2. Click a face of a host or a work plane to move the rebars to its plane.
3. Do one of the following:

• Select another face or work plane to rotate the rebars parallel to its plane.
• Press “Esc” to exit the tool without rotating the rebars.

Tip

Use a visible work plane in order to move and rotate rebars to an individual position. Therfore, draw a reference plane and name it Specify the reference plane as current work plane and activate “Show Work Plane” Now, the work plane will be available for the alignment of the tool.
