Split Rebars

The Split Rebars tool splits rebars according a stock length and places them with the a lap length. The tool provides the following two workflow:

• Split entire straight rebar sets (e.g. in a large floor or foundation slab). Optionally, the arrangement can be staggered in this mode.
• Split single rebar shapes (e.g. in a large section) as preparation for the Distribute tool.

For both workflows you can create dividing lines first (optional) to check or edit the way to split individually.

1. Activate the view where you want to split rebars.
2. Do one of the following:

• Select a single bent bar or straight rebar sets to split click Reinforcement tab Modify panel (Split Rebars).
• Click Reinforcement tab Modify panel (Split Rebars) Select a single bent bar or straight rebar sets to split click Finish in the options bar.

The Split Rebars dialog displays.

3. Do one of the following:

• Choose your preferred settings and confirm with OK.
• Choose your preferred settings and click “Create dividing lines” check or edit the way to split (Split Rebars) Click “Select dividing lines” and select the dividing lines Click Finish in the options bar.

Note

The green line refers to the rebar start and the red line to it’s end. You can copy, move and edit the dividing lines, but ensure that the number of red and green lines must be equal.
