The Stretch / Trims tool stretches or trims rebar shapes to the concrete cover of a chosen face and groups them to a structural rebar container. The nearest part of the rebar shape to the chosen face will be stretched or trimmed. To remove the structural rebar container created by the Stretch / Trims tool, use the Explode tool.
- Select one or more rebars to stretch / trim
click Reinforcement tab
(Stretch / Trim).
- Click Reinforcement tab
- Select a face of a host to stretch or trim the rebars to its concrete cover.
- Select a visible work plane to strech or trim the rebars to its surface.
Tip
Use a visible work plane in order to stretch / trim rebars to an individual position. Therfore, draw a reference plane and name it Specify the reference plane as current work plane and activate “Show Work Plane” Now, the work plane will be available for the alignment of the tool.
