Hide and Tag¶

The Hide and Tag rebars tool places a symbolic representation of a rebar set together with a dimension line and an annotation. The rebar object is no longer visible on this view. In contrast to the command Hide Rebars, this tool is especially recommended for rebar sets in floors, walls and foundation slabs.

To move the rebar tags outside the element you can use the “Tag All” tool afterwards. Therfore the checkbox “Move annotations placed by “Hide and Tag” outside.” must be checked on the Rebar tab in the settings dialog.

Activate the view where you want to hide and tag rebar sets.
Do one of the following:

Select one or more rebar sets to place a symbolic representation together with a dimension line and tag click Reinforcement tab Tagging panel (Hide and Tag Rebars).

Click Reinforcement tab Tagging panel (Hide and Tag Rebars) Select one or more rebar sets to place a symbolic representation together with a dimension line and tag click Finish in the options bar.
