About this Manual

The primary objective of the SOFiSTiK VERiFiCATiON Benchmarks is to verify the capabilities of SOFiSTiK by means of nontrivial problems which are bound to reference solutions. To this end, this manual contains a compilation of a number of selected benchmarks from various different reference solutions, each benchmark focusing on a specific topic. The obtained results from the SOFiSTiK analysis are contrasted with corresponding reference solutions. In the right sidebar you may filter the listed categories. The categories are updated automatically if a new benchmark is available. For all benchmarks we provide the input file *.zip and the *.pdf file, where you will find all necessary informations regarding:

The tasks covered by SOFiSTiK, address a broad scope of engineering applications and it is therefore not possible to validate all specific features with known reference solutions in terms of this Verification Manual. An attempt has been made though, to include most significant features of the software with respect to common problems of general static and dynamic analysis of structures.
