User’s Guide

SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design for Revit allows to generate a 3D Finite-Element model from an Autodesk® Revit® analytical model including loads and boundary conditions.

Additional structural properties that affect analyses such as line hinges at slab edges or effective width for T-Beams can be input into Revit and interpreted by SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design for Revit. Further features allow to generate subsystems from views or directly from Revit levels, to consider the load transfer between subsystem and to perform member design according to the Eurocode.

Using the SOFiSTiK Structural Desktop (SSD), analysis, enveloping, design and dimensioning for the FE systems can be performed according to various standards and codes. With the help of Revit Result Packages the user can visualize results from the analysis and design commands directly within Revit views.
