Service Pack 2020-5

AutoCAD 2021 support

With the current service pack it is possible to install SOFiCAD 2020 on AutoCAD 2021. The corresponding installation option SOFiCAD 2020 for AutoCAD 2021 can be found on the SOFiCAD 2020 tab of the SOFiSTiK Application Manager.

The steel list DOCX supports non-standard variable bending shapes

The new call parameter of the bending list {table_varying_segments} is responsible for generating a table with the information of the variable segments of a bending shape.

_images/Var_Tabelle_Beispiel.PNG

You can add this call parameter directly to the bend list table in your .docx template or use one of the preconfigured templates that SOFiCAD provides with the installation.

_images/Var_Tabelle_Abrufparameter.PNG

The texts of this new table have been added to the translation table.

_images/Übersetzungstabelle_Var_Tabelle_Abrufparameter.PNG

Call parameter that specifies the method for calculating the length of the bars

The call parameter {project.calculation_method} has been added to the SOFiCAD standard template.

This retrieval parameter displays a user-defined text, which depends on the SOFiCAD option to calculate the length of the bars. (This option can be found under Parameters > Rebar 1 > Bar Length)

The texts are defined by the parameters `` calculation_method_center_line ‘’ and `` calculation_method_outer_contour ‘’ in the translation table.

Note

If you have already prepared a template for the steel list, it is not necessary to create it again from a SOFiCAD template. You can simply add the new call parameters and translation parameters to your current template.

Position check

This new command compares the properties of the selected positions. If two or more items are physically the same, they are grouped under the same item number. This is particularly useful in combination with the “Copy + Modify” command

_images/Check_Mark.gif

Extension of SOF_B_CHECKING

SOF_B_CHECKING now also lists the pointer routing, the pointers of which do not point to an extract of its position. This extension of the check command indicates possibly incorrect pointer relocations.

_images/Check_Pointer.gif

Quantity lists support two filters at the same time

The quantity lists (table: weight_summary) from the new steel list.docx can now support two filters at the same time in order to be able to separate bars with and without connecting elements, bent and not bent.

_images/Two_Filters.png

New call parameters {quantity_per_mark} for the fastener table

This shows how many connecting elements have been assigned to which positions: “Pos. (Number)”.

_images/Quantity_per_Mark.png

New creation option “Bars as extension” for linear laying

This option speeds up the creation of associative representations for linear relocations. The “Rods as extension” option can be switched on and off as usual using Info / Edit.

New commands: “sof_b_set_rebar_style” and “sof_b_set_mesh_style”

With this command, users can link their own bar and mesh styles as an icon in the menu bar or toolbar. An example of this is the command SOFi25GRAU, which can be examined with the command “_CUI” (adapt user interface).

_images/sofi25grau_cui.PNG

Poly laying

With the new command poly-laying, multiple laying along a polyline can be created automatically. Particularly advantageous for complex cuts and edge reinforcements.

_images/polyverlegung.gif

Steel bars info

Information about the moved positions can now be called up via the LOG sidebar. The LOG sidebar offers additional functions to find, edit or delete elements.

_images/Infolog.gif

Check reinforcement

Now you can use SOFiCAD to inquire about any discrepancies in the plan, for example, relocations without a pull-out, pull-out with a number of 0 or bending shapes with too short leg lengths. All information is displayed in the LOG sidebar.

_images/SOF_CHEKING_preview.JPG

Route of pointers supports STRETCHES

Pointer relocations can now also be modified using the AutoCAD STRETCH command.

_images/Assoziativ.gif

Icons with high contrast

Better visibility and less tiring for the eyes due to improved contrast of the SOFiCAD icons.

_images/Icons_preview.JPG

In addition, the commands for the SOFiCAD-Classic.dwt have been removed from the new Construction tab. Only the layout-compatible commands from the former tabs Construction I and II can be found on this tab. The tabs Classic Construction I and II can be hidden by the following procedure.
