Summary

Create a tendon by either drawing geometry or selecting existing AutoCAD geometry like lines, arcs and splines.

This command offers the user the possibility to create tendons from AutoCAD objects such as lines, polylines, splines and arcs.

Before creating a tendon a structural line or geometric axis is required. It is also possible to choose more than one structural line. The tendon which will be created will be referenced to the structural line or the geometric axis. After choosing structural line or axis, it is possible to create tendons by:

• Draw a tendon (first point - next point)

• Select object

• Pick lines or curves

• Polygonal mode

• Set working plan

Note

Merging Slab PT with Shell PT or Beam PT in a drawing is not recommended. Of course Shell PT and Beam PT can be mixed.

During the definition of the tendons geometry the properties are given via a dialog.

Presstressing System

Stressing forces are computed automatically considering stressing sequences, wedge slip, friction, wobble, etc. The user, however, can limit the max force/stress/factor of the tendon at individual points:
