User’s Guide

SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design allows to generate a 3D Finite-Element model from an Autodesk® Revit® analytical model including loads and boundary conditions.

Other structural properties influencing the analysis, such as line hinges at slab edges or effective width for T-Beams, can be added to the model and interpreted by SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design. Further features allow to generate subsystems from views or directly from Revit levels, to consider the load transfer between subsystem and to perform analyses and member design according to the Eurocode, as well as the display of the results from the analysis and design directly within Revit views.

Note

Additionally, users of SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design with interface to SOFiSTiK FEA can access the ssd_small SOFiSTiK Structural Desktop (SSD) where further analyses, enveloping, design and dimensioning for the FE systems can be performed according to various standards and codes.
