Main new features¶
We are happy to present you the main updates and features in a short overview.
Partial Shape¶
You can decide now more comfortable if you want to detail a partial or a main shape profile. The detail shape button has now a drop-down menu wherefrom you can faster create a partial shape detail.
All shape details¶
Whether you want to create a group of detail shapes or all the shapes from a plan at once, now it is possible with the new feature “All shape details”. This command will create a drafting view with all the shapes (or only the selected once) at a specified scale.
Shape in annotation¶
When this function is activated you can bring the shape of position as small sketched symbol in annotation tags. The option can be activated from Settings Annotations tab Annotation Shape.
Alternate Style¶
Related to the assigned layer and if the check box for the specific layer is marked, you can obtain now a dashed representation of the rebars when using “Hide and Tag” command.
Settings Dialog¶
The new Settings Dialog doesn’t just have a new look, it delivers also more information about the project. This is how the dialog looks now:
By simply opening of Settings Dialog you will see the small yellow square with a white exclamation sign if there are required to be loaded new versions of families. In this case you need to load the new families in your project or simply import the entire SOFiSTiK Content Pack.
When you see the red square with the exclamation sign that means some families are missing in your project and you need to load them. You can load only the families, or you can load the entire Content Pack again.
Schedule in DOCX format¶
The export of the rebar schedule was improved in .DOCX format:
The irregular 2D or 3D shapes will get now a definition table in the bending schedule
If you write the parameters {bending_table} or {coordinates_3d_table} in your docx template, you will get in the resulted document the definition table necessary to produce the 2D or 3D shapes.
The arrangement for Fabric Cut List table is optimized and the values for the cut for each mesh are written in the picture. In template file the Fabric Cut Table was set to be generated on 2 columns.
This mean that the result will look like this:
There are available filters in weight schedule for bent and not bent rebars and the rebar bending schedule can be now filter for marks with or without couplers. Click here to see how you can add a filter to your schedules.
If you want to have one of the parameters with a specific prefix or suffix only when the parameter gets filled (only when a value for it exists) then you can use the text_if function now available.
The translation table makes possible a 100% translation of the schedule. If a translation table does not exist, then the default language is English.
