Key (KWH, KWL)¶
The most important for reading data is the so called ‘’key’’. It defines the identifier of data and
consists of two numbers. If the data is dependent on a load case, the second number is usually
the load case number or an element number (cross-section, beam, quad…). The basic data for
nodes, like coordinates or node number is read e.g. with the key @Rec:(20/0)
. Where 20 is
the KWH key, and 0 is the KWL key.
To read the displacements and support forces with @Rec: (24/LC)
. Where the kwl key is the
load case number. You can find an overview of all possible keys in the file
‘’CDBase Help’’.
