Main new Features¶
We are happy to present you the main updates and features in a short overview.
Rebar Layout: Moved Segmented¶
The Tag All tool supports the new SOFiSTiK Rebar Layout of type Moved Segmented created by the Group tool.
The segment annotation for SOFiSTiK Layout Moved Segmented is now adjustable in the Annotations tab.
The Hide and Tag tool supports the new SOFiSTiK Rebar Layout of type Moved Segmented created by the Group tool.
The Hide and Detail tool supports the new SOFiSTiK Rebar Layout of type Moved Segmented created by the Group tool.

Alternate Style¶
This functionality allows you to differentiate between layers by overriding the line pattern for rebars and details in alternate style for a current view.
Click reinforcement tab Other panel (Settings) Tab Layers Select the checkbox to activate Alternate Style for the desired layer.
Activate the option Consider Alternate Style in Tab Tag and Detail.
Use (Layers tool) to determine reinforcement layers.
Use (Hide and Tag/Detail tool).
Real and Nominal Diameter¶
SOFiSTiK Reinforcement Detailing tools will use the parameter Model Bar Diameter for any representation and clash control purposes. The parameter Bar Diameter (nominal) will be used for any annotation and scheduling purposes.
To modify the default value of the parameter Model Bar Diameter, select rebar Properties palette Click (Edit Type) Dimensions Change the value of Model Bar Diameter.
Note
The changes to type properties will be applied to all instances in the project
New dialogs with multi-selection functionality¶
The new dialog allows you to use these tools Schedule, Set Marks, Export For Production and Shape Image for several sheets/hosts (depending on the selected mode for marks) at once when the checkboxs in dialog are selected.
Linear Spacer tool¶
The Linear Spacer tool places an annotation symbol which represents and counts a certain type of a linear spacer.
Note
The Linear Spacer affects the reinforcement schedules and production files in deviation from the Revit Model.
Activate the view or sheet where you want to place the linear spacer annotation symbol.
Click Reinforcement tab Create panel (Linear Spacer)
The Linear Spacer dialog displays.
Set the desired family and family type and confirm with OK.
Click the desired insertion point.
Additional output files (PDF and ABS)¶
Additional output files (PDF and ABS) can be optionally created with the DOCX schedule, which can be configured in the Schedule tab.
