Generate Barmark Views¶
In SOFiCAD, Barmark Views (extracts) represent the rebar bending shape that is to be produced. In SOFiCAD we distinguish between the Baemark View, the Barmark View in the formwork and the Barmark View Copy.
A Barmark View can always be created in several ways. The individual parameters can be entered as numbers. In this case, the position and orientation of the member must first be defined. It is more convenient to enter by showing formwork edges. The position of the rebar is usually clear here, so that no further entries are required. Mixed forms are also possible.

Generation of steel extracts for all bending shapes. The entry is made by showing formwork edges with the intelligent cursor or by specifying the individual parameters.
The options available for defining the geometry are displayed on the command bar.
Point: It enables the definition of a geometry without the help of a reference line.
Formwork: The insertion point and the end point are defined after selecting two cutting lines.
Additional options for the A1 / 00 bending shape:
Parallel: It allows the selection of a reference line to define the direction of the geometry. Then you can define the insertion point and the end point using the options shown in the command bar.
Central: This option is suitable for creating bars with anchoring on both sides. By selecting a reference line, you define the geometry of the element. You can define the anchorage of the bar by entering a numeric value or using the overlap option.
Perpendicular: In this mode, the selection of a reference line creates a geometry that is perpendicular to it.
Overlapping: This option enables the selection of another extract in the formwork, which is used as a reference to define the insertion point of the geometry. In addition, the overlap distance is quickly calculated using the “Anchorage-Overlad” menu.

This allows a selectable line to be divided into sections of equal length. The overlap and member length can be freely defined.
