Creates cuts through an existing structural area.

After export, calculation and design, data will be available for reading by the SOFiSTiK program Graphic at the position of the drawn cuts.

To create a cut line the two endpoints of the line are picked or an AutoCAD line is selected. During the export the cut line is written directly into the database. From there it can be used by the SOFiSTiK program Graphic.

In the SOFiSTiK program Graphic it is possible to view e.g. internal forces, stresses, displacements etc. at the locations of the drawn cut lines. Cut lines exported out of SOFiPLUS are showm as an area perpendicular to the global XY-plane.

To control the visibility in SOFiSTiK program Graphic, the cut lines can receive group numbers.
