Note
Solid elements (boundaries, openings) cannot be used together with thin-walled elements.
After the cross section geometry and design-relevant information have been defined, the corner and boundary points of the objects can be parameterised. As reference points, all stress points, geometry points, polygonal points or circle centres are possible.
For existing cross sections some additional commands are available in the context menu in the sidebar:
Explode
This command explodes a standard cross section, which can not be edited graphically, into a solid or thin-walled cross section. After the explode command, the cross section can be opened with the Cross Section Editor and modified there. Exploded cross sections are assigned to the general running mode.

Clone
Copies the marked cross section to a new cross section number.
Delete
Deletes the marked cross section. The deletion has also effects to the database, the Undo function is not available here.
Import
Imports one or more cross section from another database.
Delete All Interpolated Cross Sections
Deletes all cross section which are marked in the system tree as interpolated. The deletion has also effects to the database, the Undo function is not available here.
