Automatic steelbar laying#

You can automatically create a steel bar laying for a position and direction in an existing geometry. This can be done by specifying a reinforcement or by taking over the reinforcement from a finite element calculation (BFE-Show).

The command ‘BFE-Show’ reads the required reinforcement from a finite element calculation. These values are used for automatic bar steel laying and mesh selection and for checking the inserted reinforcement. By comparing the inserted reinforcement with the required reinforcement, the missing reinforcement is displayed.

With the “Automatic bar steel laying” command from FE, you can create an automatic bar steel laying for a layer in an existing geometry by calculating the As values. It is important that a BFE object was previously inserted with the “BFE-Show” command.

In the case of linear laying, the bar lengths shown are taken into account. However, these can deviate from the actual length. In the case of linear laying, it also applies that the bar length shown in the laying is taken into account regardless of the actual leg length! In addition, an overlap length for linear relocations can be entered in the Info / Edit dialog window. This is calculated automatically according to the selected standard. The overlap length is relevant in connection with the “BFE-Show” command. The additional object snap “point” is available at the overlap length for easier construction.

The ‘BFE-Show’ command is used to check the inserted reinforcement. By comparing the existing reinforcement with the results of the required reinforcement (finite element calculation), the “undercoverage” (missing reinforcement) is displayed.
