Working with the construction module#
SOFiCAD construction is the ideal tool for designers and draughtsmen to quickly create and design plans. Clear catalogs, integrated help functions and the graphic display of tools enable easy familiarization. The consistency with AVA and cost calculation is guaranteed.
As SOFiCAD modules are continuously being developed, the manuals do not always document the latest program status. Changes are described in the LOG files (file extension .HTM). These files should usefully be printed out when a new program version is received and attached to the manual. The LOG files can be displayed on the screen using the SOFiCAD log files drop-down menu.
We therefore recommend: Always read the log file!
Task description and performance characteristics#
Within the SOFiCAD modules, great importance was placed on the user being able to continue working as usual with AutoCAD. This ensures that experienced AutoCAD users require little training. The construction module supports the automatic allocation of layers of the drawing elements, takes over the automatic adjustment of the text heights and contains everything building-specific.
