Drawing template

Basically, you can create a drawing template from any drawing with the “Save As …” command.

If you want to create a template based on the “SOFiCAD_classic.dwt” template, use the “Create drawing template” command in the SOFiCAD menu. Here you can ensure that you are asked for the drawing scale with your template when starting.

A drawing template contains dimensioning styles, a preset text style, layouts with title blocks / legends, loaded line types, required layers, etc.
