Explodes a standard steel profile.

Explodes a standard steel profile.

Using this command, a standard steel profile is inserted into the current cross section. The reference point which is defined in the dialog is used for the insertion point in the cross section.

With the command ‘Explode Rolled Steel Shape’, it is possible to divide the steel profile into its component parts. Polygons are generated from solid profiles and thin-walled elements from thin-walled profils.
