User’s Guide

SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design allows to generate a 3D Finite-Element model from an Autodesk® Revit® analytical model including loads and boundary conditions.

Additional structural properties that affect analyses such as line hinges at slab edges or effective width for T-Beams can be input into Revit and interpreted by SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design. Further features allow to generate subsystems from views or directly from Revit levels, to consider the load transfer between subsystem and to perform analyses and member design according to the Eurocode.

With the help of Revit Result Packages the user can visualize results from the analysis and design commands directly within Revit views.

Note

Additionally, users of SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design with interface to SOFiSTiK FEA can access the SOFiSTiK Structural Desktop i_ssd (SSD) where further analyses, enveloping, design and dimensioning for the FE systems can be performed according to various standards and codes.
